ABOUT THE GROUP MEMBERS

Patty, lead singer of the group, wrote seven musical revues all of which were produced at Friar Tuck's in Maumee, Ohio and other locations. The titles of the shows are: "Psst...Joe Sent Me" - 1920's; "Who Was Depressed in the Depression?" - 1930's; "World War II at Friar Tuck's" - 1940's; "Garters & Bobbysox" - 1950's; "I Had A Dream" - 1960's; "Getting My Sh.. Together" - 1970's; and "Country and Cowboys 101". She performed in and directed all the shows. Her musical and stage training began at an early age when her family members would ask her to perform for friends and relatives. She continued in theatre and voice in high school and college. Today she is a Licensed Real Estate Consultant   MoransSellSunshine   with Premiere Plus Realty Company in Naples, Florida. She is also a Certified Laughter Yoga Leader    Laughing For The Health Of IT   based out of Naples, Florida.

PATTY







Mike loves people and loves performing. His sharp wit keeps an audience and The Villagers laughing most of the night. He showed how versatile and talented a performer he is in Patty's shows. He was in a folk/rock group at the University of Toledo and joined The Villagers upon graduation with a Masters in Speech and Media.

MIKE

Steve is the musical arranger of the group. His father is a gifted musician who taught Steve to recognize musical tones and chord structures at an early age. From his initial training he progressed through the folk era to majoring in music at Defiance College. He joined The Villagers when he graduated and today owns very successful, high tech recording studios,   Scharren Studios   in Perrysburg, Ohio and Las Vegas, Nevada.

Larry, the drummer for the group, has a varied background in the styles of music he has played. He started working with musical groups at an early age. He was asked to join The Villagers because of the experience he gained on the road and in clubs in live performances.

LARRY

Joe, the business manager of the group, received his musical training in church. He was in the mens' choir, played the bells in the tower and played the church organ. Joe , along with Patty, owned and operated Friar Tuck's for 17+ years. A graduate of the University of Toledo, BBA, he received his training to operate a club while working at the Poison Apple in Detroit, Michigan. Today he is a Licensed Real Estate Consultant   MoransSellSunshine   with Premiere Plus Realty Company in Naples, Florida. He is also a Certified Laughter Yoga Leader    Laughing For The Health Of IT   based out of Naples, Florida.
